How much is a Castelo de São Jorge ticket?

Castelo de São Jorge charges €17 for adult entry. Visitors aged 13 to 25 pay €8.50 for castle entry.

Castle entry costs €14 for visitors aged 65 and over. Visitors with specific needs pay €12 for entry.

Is the Lisboa Card worth it for the castle?

For a full-price adult, Castelo de São Jorge entry plus a 24-hour Carris/Metro pass costs €24.25. The adult 24-hour Lisboa Card costs €31 and also includes other monument entries.

If the castle and transport are your only paid plans, separate tickets cost €6.75 less on an existing travel card. Consider the Lisboa Card if the other included entries you will use cover that difference.

The €24.25 total does not include the €0.50 Navegante occasional card. With a new travel card, castle entry and the 24-hour Carris/Metro pass cost €24.75.

If you already have an adult Lisboa Card, castle entry is free. There is no separate €17 admission charge.
